By

Ghost Games' racing game, Need for Speed receives new patch fixes, as the gaming community provided the developers feedbacks through the Living Game system in the game's official website.

Developer Ghost Games aims its Need for Speed franchise to be better, stronger, and faster as it addressed some issues brought up by fans through patch fixes. It was revealed that the most talked-about within the fan community is the rubber banding issue or the AI Catchup in the game, which was addressed to the developers through Living Game. Latin Post revealed that the next update of the developers would be a more balanced AI Catchup in order to compensate the fan feedback received after the game's launch. Included in the update are mirror functionality, improved color picker, Hoonicorn, and Morohoshi-San Diablo, to name a few. A release date for the update is yet to be announced.

In the Need for Speed's official website, Ben Walke had an opportunity to express gratitude and thank fans for their feedbacks as opportunity to improve the game. According to him, "the future of Need for Speed is as much in your hands as it is in ours, so please do keep the feedback coming. We're deeply committed to creating not only the game that you, our players want, but the game you deserve." The site also introduced the Living Game which would provide regular updates and expansions to players, based on fan feedback. The developers also pushed a live fix to address the stutter which Xbox One players experienced, and promised that they would continue to monitor the matter.

Electronic Arts and Ghost Games shall release an overview of what to include in the first game update before the end of November. Nevertheless Ghost Games confirmed that it had already patch fixed the widely-criticized rubber banding AI with a more balanced AI catchup, Videogamer reports.

EA and Ghost Games' Need for Speed updates is still in progress and would soon be released. The first Living Game update has no official release date yet, however, it was confirmed by the developers that they have patched the widely-complained rubber banding issue.
