Altus Studio's role playing game, Persona 5 was announced to have its official release by mid-2016, instead of this year. Although fans were disappointed for its delay, the game developers teased the fan community with the game's characters and plot to look forward to.
Persona 5's story shall revolve around a group of high school students being chased by unexpected occurrences due to the concept of justice they believed in, as Realty Today reported. According to the game developers, the story was written in order to convey thrill in the everyday life in the perspective of these young characters "as large as life, in this juvenile school setting". Despite the release, Game Director Katsuhiro Harada and Designer Katsuro Hashino teased the fan community with the new characters and plot as they reveal the game's official trailer during the Persona Super Live 2015 Concert.
This RPG multiplayer, according to N4BB, is set in the modern day Tokyo, focusing on 16-year old high school boy who has the ability to call forth many faces of his spirit. Game details include the Dungeon Exploration which surprises players with additional abilities of jumping across gaps and bolting between corners. A turn base attack system was introduced which enables players to allow the character to attack others with numerous choices instead of a single action at a time. Furthermore, the game also features a choice of duo personas and offers two weapon choices of a gun and either a sword or a knife.
According to a Crossmap report, Game Designer Katsuro Hashino said: "We've been very fortunate to have created a series of games where people feel so attached to each of the protagonists, so we hope that with Persona 5, we'll be able to make a game where the events of it really hit home and make for really impactful experiences. I know it's been a long wait, but I hope you'll give us just a little more time. Hopefully once it's out, it'll all be worth it in the end," as he explained the delay, addressing the dedicated fans.
Altus Studio's multiplayer role playing game, Persona 5, is scheduled to release in the middle of 2016. The game shall be available on PS3 and PS4 platforms.
