Bioware's fourth Mass Effect installment, Mass Effect 4: Andromeda is now scheduled for release as they reveal some features of the game. These include new worlds and a whole new set of characters. Another focus of rumors within the fan community is that the E3 trailer of the game pretty much revealed the name of the new protagonist.
According to Crossmap, Bioware announced that they are adding a multiplayer mode in the game, and that they are scrapping all the old characters, giving way to a whole new set. The developers also announced that they shall add new worlds, as requested by the fan community. The main character, on the other hand, is said to be fully customizable and is connected to the character wearing N7 in the trailer during the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo.
The Mass Effect franchise was known to have a minimal combat features, but Mass Effect 4 is reported to have a different take. The game's development team said that they are currently focusing strongly on game combat. They also said that they are including more additions which is aimed at gaining the lost support from the community. Yibada reports that the team is working on amendments and changing the direction of certain game levels. Colin Campbell from the design team said that the changes which needs implementing have been communicated efficiently. Furthermore, they are trying various combinations with different levels to be appealing to the fans.
Meanwhile, there has been a hype within the fan community as to whether the E3 trailer hinted the new protagonist's name. While the trailer seems to appear pretty light on details, PC Games N reports that a speck of detail did not pass through the eagle eyes of die hard Mass Effect fans. It is said that on the 0:44 mark of the video, a view from the ship's cockpit is being shown. On the lower right corner of the shot, a photograph could be seen which shows what seems to be a picture of an adult planked by two children. However, on the lower left side, a dog tag could be seen which, if zoomed in, a name "RYDER" can be seen.
