It's safe to assume that everybody who knows about Kpop could very well know Girl's Generation. To the fans of this group, you're in for a feat of great news.
To start off with a bang, the iconic song "Gee" of Girl's Generation has reached an incredible 150 million views in YouTube. Devoted fans of this girl group called SONEs have definitely played a big role to achieve this view count. All the more when there was a sudden glitch on the site deleting the MV, fans immediately protested. Thankfully the video was put back up and did not lose its accumulated views or YouTube would've felt the wrath of SONEs.
Moreover, Girl's Generation, known in Korea as So Nyeo Shi Dae or SNSD, have decided the best gift of thanks to their fans. The girl group is going to have a concert!
SNSD is holding a solo concert titled "Phantasia" that will be held on November 21 to 22 at Seoul's Olympic Stadium.
It's the idol group's highly anticipated concert, as their last one was way back in 2013. Reportedly, renowned choreographer, Rino Nakasone, will be in charge of the concert's choreography which is just doubling the excitement for the upcoming concert.
Of course, all the members of SNSD are as excited as the fans and are busy preparing for the event.
Member Sunny had to give up her own popular radio show, "Sunny FM Date," to dedicate her schedule for the group's comeback concert. Members Yuri and Yoona are making a buzz in their own social media accounts. Yuri recently posted a photo in Instagram reminding SONEs of their event. She captioned it with 'GIRLS' GENERATION 4th TOUR - Phantasia - in SEOUL'.
Meanwhile, Yoona just opened her own Weibo account that sent her fans frenzy. The fact that she's already hyped everyone just by opening an account is enough assurance that fans would eventually shoot up SNSD in the search list.
On that note, SNSD's concert will surely be a blast. It's expected also to set things straight that the best group of SM Entertainment still remains to be the best Kpop girl group among others. And if you need numbers to prove this point, SNSD currently leads MNET Asian Music Awards' for Best Female Group Category.
