'Into the Badlands' Episode 2 Preview 'Fist Like a Bullet'

By

AMC's new martial arts series "Into the Badlands" just premiered last week with a punch... and lots of it! Viewers were introduced into the world of the "Badlands" with lead stars Daniel Wu as Sunny and Aramis Knight as M.K. The premiere had just enough mythology and mystery and, of course, the audience favourite - fight scenes! The next episode is titled "Fist Like a Bullet" and by the sound of it, viewers could expect more fantastic fight scenes ahead.

In episode 2, M.K. finds refuge in an unlikely and dangerous place, while Sunny's loyalty is tested when Quinn tries to force him to commit an unspeakable act.

In a preview via LatinPost, M.K. runs into a girl who gives him some advice and much needed shelter for his safety. The girl appeared out of nowhere surprising M.K. with a weapon shaped like a butterfly. She moved very swiftly which, according to her, was possible because of much training. It was a lesson her mother taught her, "Natural ability is no substitute for hard work."

However, M.K. must not let his guard down. The butterfly-shaped weapon is not a good sign, because the symbol of the butterfly is the Black Widow's insignia as revealed in the pilot. M.K. may look like an average boy, but he has special powers. Thus, people are going to be looking for the gifted boy, especially the baroness. Looks like his new found "refuge" isn't that safe after all.

"Into the Badlands" is a post-apocalyptic martial arts drama which is inspired by Asian cinema tropes and also brings a lot of elements of the past into its postmodern futuristic setting. The story centres on the trials of a warrior (Sunny) and a young boy (M.K.) who journey together through a dangerous feudal land in search for enlightenment.

Catch "Into the Badlands," AMC's new martial arts drama, every Sunday at 10pm ET.
