The CW has officially announced the premiere for "The 100" Season 3 which will have the same date as the premiere of its new series "Legends of Tomorrow". Fans of "The 100" were faced with an extended wait when The CW chose to skip the fall season and decided to premiere Season 3 in 2016. Now, the long wait is over as "The 100" Season 3 will make its triumphant return on January 21, 2016.
According to Hypable, the sleeper hit initially disguised itself as a typical end-of-the-world teen angst fest but has blown critics away during its much celebrated sophomore season.
Same article says it is hard to imagine how "The 100" Season 3 could top its Season 2 that ended in a literal bombshell that will change the show forever.
During the show's very long hiatus, EP Jason Rothenberg has been actively updating fans on what to basically expect in the new season in his Twitter account reports Christian Today. Recently, he revealed that he is currently working on a trailer which he promised to be epic. However, he hinted that he is not close to completing it yet.
Rothenberg has also been teasing fans about where the characters are headed in "The 100" Season 3. To begin with, Clarke has been severely traumatized by her and Bellamy's massacre of people in Mt. Weather using radiation.
"When we pick things up, I think she's going to be losing it a little ... She's not dealing with it particularly well," ElizaTaylor, who plays Clarke said in an interview.
Clarke has left Camp Jaha in "The 100" Season 3 and she willbe seen hanging out with the Grounders in Polis, the Grounders' Capitol. Although fans have always wanted to see how Polis looks like, the fans are not really very fond of the Grounders says Ecumenical News. However, Rothenberg has promised that the Earth-born individuals will change the way people think the next time they are seen on "The 100" Season 3.
The long wait for "The 100" Season 3 premiere date is finally over. It seems that the fans have a lot of other things to look forward to in the show's return based on the tweets and teasers from Rothenberg.
