"The 100" EP Jason Rothenberg has been pretty consistent with giving fans updates about the show on Twitter. He recently tweeted about crying during the filming of an emotional scene involving Bob Morley's character, Bellamy.

Aaron Ginsburg, the supervising producer of the show, has a spoiler of his own which may be connected to Rothenberg's tweet. He revealed that a major character will be killed off in the new season. Ginsberg also added that said character is a fan favorite. It is being speculated that the scene Rothenberg was talking about is the one where Bellamy learns of the death of someone close to him reports Reality Today.

Rothenberg previously revealed also by Twitter a photo of Clarke sporting a new look for the Season 3 of "The 100" which sparked speculations of a major change in the character's storyline. Fans think that she may have joined the Grounders or working under cover against them.

One pressing question for the fans is who Clarke will choose between Bellamy and Lexa to be with. Season 3 ended with Clarke parting ways with both of them. An IB Times article says that Bellamy felt cheated with the choices Clarke made especially with her decision to leave Camp Jaha. The report said that it may take some time for him to forgive Clarke but when he does, fans are hoping that it will be the start of their love story.

On the other hand, it was Lexa who betrayed Clarke, a betrayal that led to saving her people. There is going to be reconciliation in Season 3 that will put Lexa in the middle of a love triangle with Clarke and Bellamy. Ginsburg assures fans that whoever the writers decide who Clarke chooses will be the best for the show.

Rothenberg, reports Christian Post, said that the concept of time travel will be introduced in Season 3 that will give "The 100" a futuristic vibe. "Futuristic, yes, but in a weird way, it's also going to go back to the past. 2052 is when the world ended, and its 97 years after that that the show began, so one of the things we're doing with this ending is getting back to how it all began."

"The 100" Season 3 is due to premiere on January next year. Rothenberg has already revealed that the premiere will be a major tearjerker for Bellamy and fans can't wait.
