The return of "The 100" is still months away but fans are wondering why Clarke is looking full Grounder in a recently released photo. Will she be one of them or remain with her Sky People?
Melty reports that in her emergence from her time alone, it is not clear if she teams up with the Grounders or return to her clan. Clarke took it upon herself to save her family and friends held hostage by the Mountain Men inside Mount Weather. She had to exterminate the entire population of Mountain Weather to do this. The experience proved to be too much for Clarke that she had to leave Camp Jaha to be by herself.
EP Jason Rothenberg recently tweeted the picture of Clarke looking like a Grounder that has sparked a lot of fan speculations about her joining the Earth tribe. There is also the possibility that Clarke was just working undercover against them.
Meanwhile, Christian Post reveals that the new season will have a major character killed off. No other details are available on who the character is except that it will be a fan favorite.
The Ice Nation were always mentioned in Season 2 and fans were already primed to expect them in the new season. Brenda Strong will be joining the cast as Queen Nia, the Ice Queen. Her character is described as having ruled her people for many years through her ruthlessness and savvy. She is ready to do anything to hold on to power.
Finally, Season 3 will have a love triangle of Clarke, Bellamy and Lexa. In the last season finale, Clarke left both Lexa and Bellamy. She was betrayed by Lexa to save her own people. On the other hand, Bellamy felt betrayed by Clarke after she left Camp Jaha and their people.
Rothenberg has teased that there will be fireworks between the two women especially in their first encounter after the betrayal in Weather Mountain. Some fans are optimistic that they will reconcile and even work together.
That could explain the new look of Clarke. Is she teaming up with Lexa and lead a rival faction? This would mean she chose Lexa over Bellamy. Share us what you think about these theories by posting a comment below.
