'The Flash' Season 2 Spoilers: New Promo, Sneak Peek Images Hints Intense 'Arrow' Crossover; Can Oli & Barry Take Down Vandal Savage?

By

The CW has released the promotional photos and promo for the crossover event of "The Flash" and "Arrow" in December. The episode titled “Legends of Today” will mark the first part of the hotly-anticipated two hours of television as it will bring the two superheroes towards one goal: to take down Vandal Savage.

The teaser, released through Youtube, introduces Vandal Savage as the main ordeal for both Team Arrow and Team Flash.

“I wish it wasn’t just the dark times that brought us together,” Allen said to Oliver in the clip.
It is palpable that the first part will give the viewers an idea on just how capable this new Big Bad is, offering them quick glimpses into Savage’s deadly strikes.

“Everyone in there is willing to die to protect us,” Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl said to Carter Hall/Hawkman in the middle of a serious conversation.

“Legends of Today” will test the relationship of "Arrow" and "The Flash" as they team-up to defeat Vandal while also protecting Hawkgirl in the process. The storyline will be first set up in Star City and is expected to evolve towards the second part at Central City.

As for the episode’s promotional photos, the gallery featured Malcolm Merlyn, Diggle, Cisco, and Thea among others. It also gave away a scene of Felicity hugging Barry inside the STAR labs. Other stills offer an outside shot of our heroes in their costume as they prepare to battle Vandal Savage.

The photos have been shared by Spoilers Guide on Tuesday.

Elsewhere in the episode, Harrison will make Jay Garrick test a serum he just developed in order to make Barry run faster. Viewers have yet to tune in if the experiment will go in their favor.
Details from the episode have been shared by The Futon Critic.

The Flash season 2 episode 8 “Legends of Today” is slated to air on Tuesday, Dec. 1 on the CW.
