Huawei to release Huawei Mate 8 with Kirin 950 chipset, Mali-T880 MP4 GPU, and more

Huawei is introducing its newly manufactured Huawei Mate 8, which is a true successor for last year's Ascend Mate7. The new device highlights high-technological specs and features that can attract enthusiasts. Some published reports claim that the new device will be released on November 26.

Phone Arena mentioned that the new device is powered by Kirin 950 chipset which is comparable to Snapdragon 810. The chipset supports Mali-T880 MP4 GPU, which will be a favorite of gamers because of its graphics. The new phone also features a 6-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 FHD resolution. According to the report, Mate 8 comes in two variants, specifically 3GB and 4GB RAM. Its internal storage is 64GB. Though, there are no details if it is expandable through Micro SIM card. Further, the report said that the camera is 16MP rear and 8MP front.

In another report, GSM described the external design of the new phone. It is made up of metal and comes in three color versions, such as grey, gold, and copper. The screen also employs 2.5D glass, which its almost bezelless, the report noted. The battery has also a capacity of 4,100 mAh. The metal ring around the snapper and the two speaker grilles surrounding the USB port are located at the bottom of the phone.

In addition, Android Authority mentioned that the power button and volume rocker are located at the right side, with a 3.5mm headset jack on the top and a charging part in the bottom. The new phone also comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Huawei's own Emotion UI.

While reports claim that the device will come out in the market on November 26, Huawei does not have any comments yet about the exact release date. More so, the company never talked about the specs and features of its new flagship yet.
