CD Projekt RED hinted the possible release date of The Witcher 3 Expansion Pack. The game developer also announced the character details, patch update 1.12 and the new trailer.
Christian Post cited game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz' blog post declared that they are working on the final downloadable contents of the game which is slated to be released next year. "The final expansion for Wild Hunt which we will launch in 2016," said Tomaszkiewicz in his blog.
According to the game director, they are happy with the turnout of this year. Tomaszkiewicz recounted that after more than three years since they developed the game, it sell 6 million units and even received seven nominations in the 2015 Game of the Year Awards, the site added.
The second expansion pack Blood and Wine is surmised to hit the shelves in the first half of 2016, wrote Yibada. However, CD Projekt RED has not yet given the exact debut date of Blood and Wine.
Yibada mentioned that the latest expansion pack will feature characters the like of Anna Henriatta, Fringello Vigo, Manticore, Strings, Bruxas and ModKits. The story revolves around the Geralt as he probes the mystery of Kingdom of Touissant.
On the other hand, CD Projekt RED divulged that there will be new patch 1.12 update, the site added in their report. It is expected to come anytime in December. However, there is no information yet of what are the inclusions of the patch update.
Express reported that the Blood and Wine DLC comprises 20 hours of gameplay. New add-ons the likes of Runeswords and Glyphwords are part of the new package.
Also, the site added that the Polish game developer prepared an Epic Trailer to celebrate and one way of saying thank you to fans who supported the game that resulted to what they call and "epic year" for The Witcher crew.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt expansion pack Blood and Wine DLC will be available in 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Platform.
