Po is set for another round of Kung Fu action in the upcoming Kung Fu Panda 3. A new clip from the movie was recently released showing Po enter a secret village full of clumsy and energetic Pandas who look just like him.
After years of waiting, Po's next big screen adventure is finally nearing its release date and as reported by /Film, a new clip from the movie was released showing Po and his father arrive in the secret panda village where Po's clan reside
Kung Fu Panda 3 will revolve around Po as he meets his father after years of assuming he was an orphan. However, according to Movie News Guide, the happy reunion will not last for long as a villain named Kai is set to enter China with an aim to take down all Kung Fu masters.
Thus with a threat of a new enemy, Po will have to save his clan by teaching Kung Fu to them, which, as suggested by the clip, is likely to be a nearly impossible task. Jack Black is set to return to voice Po along with Angelina Jolie as Tigress, Jackie Chan as Monkey, Seth Rogen as Shifu, and Lucy Liu as Viper.
Also, as reported by Mail Online, the film will also include the only surviving triplet Pandas in China. The 16-month old triplets, Meng Meng, Shuai Shuai, and Ku Ku will all appear in the film alongside the main protagonist, Po.
According to oriental Dreamworks' CEO, Fang Gan, they are aiming to incorporate more Chinese elements to the movie. "We hope to incorporate more Chinese elements, culture and values into our movies. In this way, global audiences can get a deeper understanding of China.", Gan said.
The much-awaited Kung Fu Panda 3 is directed by Alessandro Carloni and Jennifer Yuh. It is written by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger. It is currently slated to hit theaters on January 29, 2016.
