Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Alicia’s new PI on The Good Wife, has previewed his character as well as his brewing romance with the show’s protagonist on a recent report. Meanwhile, Michael J. Fox will return as Louis Canning on Sunday’s episode titled “Discovery”.
Viewers first met Morgan’s Jason Crouse in the early episodes of season 7, embodying a rugged but handsome private investigator for Alicia. After showing off his badassery in doing his job, the chemistry between him and Alicia have become undeniable.
On this note, Morgan offered his thoughts about his character’s brewing romance with his boss in a report from TV Guide.
"If he's having these strong feelings toward her and her toward him, I think he'll find a way to cross that line with Alicia," the Grey’s Anatomy alum commented.
As for his character’s backstory, Morgan explained that viewers should understand that Jason is someone who has a strong sense of what’s right and what’s wrong.
"This judge who crossed him, I think there's more to that story,” he previewed.
Moving forward, the legal drama will take Alicia and Jason’s will-they-or will-they-not angle this Sunday. Their sexual tension will become a problem for Eli, who’s concerned it might sabotage Peter’s political ambitions.
"You're telling me when I sleep with Jason, you'd rather I'd kept it private?" Alicia said to Eli in the promo released via Youtube.
The same hour will also mark the return of Michael J. Fox as attorney Louis Canning. On “Discovery”, he will team up with Alicia and Lucca as they work on a case against an accusation of racial profiling.
The Nov. 29th installment will also feature guest appearances of Vanessa Williams as Courtney Paige and Margo Martindale as Ruth Eastman.
