"The Flash" Season 2 spoilers for Episode 8 entitled "Legends of Today" include Hawkman challenging Barry Allen in defeating Vandal Savage. It has also been reported that the first of the crossover episodes' official synopsis has been released.
According to International Business Times, a sneak peek for "The Flash" Season 2 Episode 8 has been released and in it, Hawkman is seen setting everybody straight. There seems to be a problem between Hawkman, who will be part of the upcoming show "Legends of Tomorrow" and the S.T.A.R. Labs team. Hawkman is also seen tied up and being interrogated by Barry and Oliver Queen.
In the sneak peek, it was also seen that Hawkman revealed that a villain named Vandal Savage has been trying to hunt him down and his eternal love, Hawkgirl. Hawkman says that they are reincarnated every time Savage claims them and says he and Hawkgirl are the only ones who can defeat Vandal Savage. "The Flash" hero and "Arrow's" main character disagree with him which led to Hawkman challenging them to do better in defeating the new baddie.
As for the official synopsis of "The Flash" Season 2 Episode 8, FanSided shared that Barry will be taking Kendra/Hawkgirl to Star City and will ask Oliver and his team to hide her. However, Hawkman flies off with the love of his life so the first plan will not work out. Harrison will also be able to develop a serum to make Barry run faster. The synopsis also says that Jay will be testing out the serum first.
Meanwhile, rumor has it that Barry will meet Supergirl soon. In a report by Christian Post, co-executive producer of the latest CBS show, Ali Adler, said that there is possibility that "Supergirl" will be seen in the universe shared by "Arrow" and "The Flash." He shared, "Storytelling-wise, that would be something we'd have to overcome. We're just focused on getting this one launched and hope that it enjoys some of the same success... with the same quality and commitment of fans. And if all those things happen, who knows?"
"The Flash" big crossover episode entitled "Legends of Today" will be airing this December 1 on The CW. Fans will get to see a big baddie and Hawkman as well as Hawkgirl.
