Square Enix' action adventure role playing game, Final Fantasy 7, is rumored to be having a remake headed for the Nintendo NX, aside from its 2017 release for the PS4 platform.
Rumors among the gaming community buzz that developer Square Enix plans to have the game's remake so as not to make it an exclusive PS4 game. The speculation started, as reported by Yibada, when Nintendo announced that the game's main character, Cloud Strife, is included in the new Super Smash Bros roster for the WiiU and Nintendo 3DS platforms. By analyzing the history between the Sony and Nintendo corporations, the two were never in good terms ever since Square Enix decided to partner up with Sony during the PS1 and Nintendo 64 days. With Cloud's inclusion in the Super Smash Bros, it seems that Square Enix may have given Nintendo a chance for a partnership.
Going back to the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Square Enix announced something that fans really thought they would see: a fully remastered remake of Final Fantasy VII for PS4 with improvements including modern graphics and modernized gameplay. However, the iDigital Times commented that the remake is not coming anytime soon as it speculated that such remake may be longer than any other remake ever made, as it may take a lot to bring FF7 up to date with an entirely different engine and graphics.
On another news, a report from Latin Times revealed that a trophy list for the upcoming FF7 port for PS4 has leaked online. Moreover, gamers who look forward to grabbing all the trophies in the game must be prepared for the major challenges ahead of them. The reported leak features 32 trophies and is quite similar with the Steam version. Nevertheless, Sony or Square Enix is yet to confirm the legitimacy of the alleged list.
First announced in the E3, what has been confirmed at the moment is the remake of Square Enix' action RPG, Final Fantasy 7. Playable on PS4, the game is speculated to launch in 2017 along with a Nintendo NX platform; but these details however, are yet to be officially confirmed.
