Following the success of The Witcher 3, developer CD Projekt RED has its full attention now on Cyberpunk 2077 which is slated for a 2017 release.
MNR Daily reported that CD Projekt RED is set to devote their time and efforts to another huge project, Cyberpunk 2077. Since Hearts of Stone is finally completed, the game is the succeeding finest thing for the Polish game developer offering a different milieu and different kind of monsters to confront.
According to the site, CD Projekt RED's lead designer Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz described Cyberpunk 2077 as a game that offers all varieties of involvements for players. The game is set in an over-the-top-modern world with a shades of "Ghost in the Shell."
Christian Today cited an interview with lead quest designer Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz saying that Cyberpunk 2077 is the main focus of CD Projekt Red with the desire to complete and release the game. CD Projekt Red Senior Vice President of Business and Publishing Michal Nowakowski supported what Tomaszkiewicz said that the company is currently divided between two games. A larger group is focused on working Cyberpunk 2077. The development of the game begun during its announcement in 2012.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a roleplaying game fixed in a dystopian future with the zest of Blade Runner and Ghost in the Shell, wrote Movie Pilot. The game uses the same REDengine 3, the same as of The Witcher 3 and this, everyone can expect that the graphics are more than sufficient.
Movie Pilot explained the gameplay although the finer details are not yet available. From the artworks of Cyberpunk 2077, there are two heroes, both androids - a 'she' with blades as part of her arm and a 'he' with hexagonal, machine-like marks. The narrative follows a non-linear and features different character classes. The game introduces both first person and third person perspectives as well as multiplayer mode.
CD Projekt RED will reveal more information about the game soon and plan to make Cyberpunk 2077 available in 2017.
