Lenovo releases the new ThinkPad P40 Yoga which serves as a 2 in 1 product for graphic artists and creators. The device caters to the user's creative demands while also encompassing sufficient power for heavy-duty graphics.
As reported by Engadget, the product one of the most innovative from Lenovo with its 2-in-1 laptop and workstation-level 3D hardware. Its features also include the Nvidia Quadro M500M chipset that is able to handle the user's chosen heavy tasks.
Like previous versions, Lenovo ThinkPad P40 Yoga is perfect for designer and artists with its lightweight aside from the fact that it folds into a tablet and is easy to carry along with its 360-degrees rotating screen. Furthermore, as reported by Tech Radar, ThinkPad P40 Yoga has Intel's Core i7 "Skylake" processor, with 512GB drive for storage, and system that can be configured up to 16GB RAM.
The screen has a 14-inch display with up to 2,560x1,440 touchscreen panel resolution. Also, it also comes with Wasom Active ES technology with use of digitizer. Furthermore, a reported by PC World, the product also includes a pen, and has 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity. Its keyboard also comes with Lenovo's Lift 'n Lock keyboard.
Moreover for its physical features, the new model also houses three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI 1.2, Mini Display Port 1.2, a slot for micro sim cards, an SD card reader, Mini display port 1.2, 4-in-1 SD card reader, and an Ethernet port. It's starting weight is believed to be at 3.9 pounds.
Aside from the ThinkPad P40 Yoga, Lenovo also released ThinkPad P50s with starting price of $1,300, and ThinkPad P301 which is available for the starting price of $729. The Lenovo the ThinkPad P40 Yoga was tested by Mil-SPEC for durability. Pricing for the product reportedly starts at $1,400.
