In line with the bundle up for winter promo, LG Electronics will be giving free 64 GB microSD card, extra battery and charging cradle for buyers who would purchase the LG V10.
Tech Times reports that the approximate retail value of the free items is at $129.97. But LG warned that any of the items cannot be returned to LG stores, carriers and retailers in exchange for their value in cash. Additionally, the company asks for around four to six weeks to process and fulfill all the valid requests to participate in the promo.
According to Latin Post, interested customers will need to purchase an LG V10 from AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon for them to be qualified in the aforementioned free items. However, the giveaways will not come upon the purchase of the handset.
Owners of the device must head over to LG's promo page, fill out a form and send a copy of the receipt. Only then will the freebies will be delivered. Last thing to keep in mind is that the promo is valid from Nov. 30 to Dec. 20.
As noted by the site, LG Electronics is always having holiday promos but it was just recent that both of the Korean OEM's high-end flagships, the V10 and the G4, received a $100 price drop. Verizon is also selling the LG V10 for $672 off contract which is $28 per month for two years. The G4 on the other hand, is much cheaper at $552 or $23 per month.
iDigitalTimes gave the LG V10 deals on the major carriers. For AT&T, this handset is sold for $249.99 with a two-year contract and starts at 30 monthly payments of $23.34 via AT&T Next 24. For buyers who want to have a plan of only 2 years, they can avail Verizon's 24-month offer of $23.83 as well as T-Mobile's for $25 monthly.
It was also worth mentioning that the free 64 GB micro SD card is from SanDisk, and the memory card comes with a one-year warranty. Although this offer is a great one, it is also reported that it is not as good as the previously released deal that had the V10. The foregoing deal comes along with a 200 GB micro SD card and the same extra battery and battery charging cradle that the current offer comes with.
Although it seems that the current deal are not as good as the previous one, this marketing strategy of LG Electronics for the LG V10 could still effectively lure an increase in sales, not to mention the perfect timin as the holiday season is forthcoming.
