While the Warner Bros have had a frustrating turn of events in their box office hits this year, the studio is wishful for a better result once the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and the "Wonder Woman" movies come out. The Warner CEO and Chairman Jeff Bewkes talked about the upcoming woman genre superhero film.
According to the Variety, Bewkes plans to bring the audiences back to the world of entertainment with their upcoming big movies in the limelight. "We're really excited about the slate," he said. "Next year we're going to be shifting more to the very numerous number of big franchise film release."
The chairman also reiterated that the upcoming "Wonder Woman" movie will be a hit especially to the male fans who are craving for a female superhero movie. "We think this could bring an under-represented female audience to this genre that frankly has not been served well in the past and that could be exciting," he said.
The studio then wishes to make the next years more interesting and exciting with their upcoming projects on hand. Batman News reported that "Wonder Woman" movie will be the first female movie after long years making it a little ahead of the Marvel Studio. Bewkes referred to as the "under-represented female audience" which will somehow indicate a new marketing strategy of the studio.
Unlike the Warner Bros, the rival company has made a rank up as 44% of the female viewers are all support with Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy". Comic Book noted that the movie ranked the highest percentage with the female audiences. This is somewhat a wake up to the Warner Bros. Hence, the studio promises enthralling films especially the "Wonder Woman" movie which will reunite the DC comic book readers and female superhero fans.
However, before the movie comes out, Wonder Woman will be debuting in the "Batman v Superman". Expect a very massive come back from the Warner Bros Studio. Do you think their marketing strategy will work this time?
