The first installment of the Harry Potter spin-off trilogy, "Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them" movie, has started filming. Reports say new characters are being casted.

David Heyman, the movie producer, has confirmed in the article on Liver Pool Echo that the production has started in Liverpool. As the crew prepares for the filming, St George's Hall has been secluded with big metal fences. Also, other scenes are being shot at the Warner Bros studios in Leavesden, Hertfordshire.

"We are thrilled to be bringing Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them to Liverpool, a city which has such fond memories for me," he said.

Although the "Fantastic Beast and Where to Find them" movie plot is being kept under wraps, The Inquisitr reported that the movie will follow the adventures of Newt Scamander which will be portrayed by Eddie Redmayne. In the movie, he will research and record dragons and other magical creatures.

Moreover, MTV suggested that if Dumbledore will be appearing in the movie, the actor may look a little like Rupert Grin. With the early 1900s plot setting, it may imply that the era took place when Europe was terrorized by Grindelwald. It may also mean that the movie will feature a smidge of the fallen Dark Wizard.

"Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them" movie is based in J.K Rowling's novel of the same title. Under the direction of David Yates, the movie stars Eddie Redmayne (The Danish Girl), Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, dan Fogler, Ezra Miller (Credence), Samantha Morton (Mary-Lou), Colin Farrell (Graves), Faith Wood-Blagrove (Modesty), Jenn Murray, Jon Voight, Gemma Chan, Carmen Ejogo, and Ron Perlman.

In addition, the Peverells, one of the oldest wizarding noble families, was speculated to appear. Aside from Ronbledore, the moviegoers might as well have a peek at more Potter characters including Nicholas Flamel, Harry's grandparents, Weasley ancestors, Malfoys and many more.

Questions are firing up if the Witches Institute of Salem would have an American Hogwarts counterpart. The new characters will be seen upon the release of "Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them" movie on November 18, 2016.
