Motorola is one of the smartphone makers who are eagerly working hard to bring the Marshmallow firmware to its patrons. Now, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Moto X Style is finally receiving the OS which carries new and enhanced features.

According to Ubergizmo, July this year, Motorola has unveiled the Moto X Style smartphone to the masses which was not alone since it came with the Moto X Play. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow soak test for the Moto X Pure Edition has kicked off earlier this month, not to mention several European countries getting the Moto X Style soak test as well. Now, all that is waiting has finally paid off it as update has begun to roll out.

Android Headlines reported that the Moto X Style, international version of the Moto X Pure Edition in the United States, is getting it's Android 6.0 Marshmallow update right now. So if users have been waiting to obtain some Marshmallow upgrade onto their Moto X Style, they won't need to wait much longer as it's already on its way now.

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow first began rolling out to the Moto X Pure Edition earlier this week on some carriers and now owners of this handset in other parts of the world can finally get the update as well. The update is rolled out over the air as usual.

Handlers of this device can go to Settings > About Phone > System Update and pull it down. Moreover, Motorola stated that users should keep the battery at least 50 percent charged and the phone connected to a Wi-Fi network when installing the update.

There will be some developments to the Moto Enhancement features under the Android M update as well. The Indian Express cited that it include the Doze mode, app standby, expandable storage, do not disturb, Google Now on Tap, direct share and more.

The Moto Assist will be removed from Moto X Style phones as it is similar to the 'Do Not Disturb' feature. Motorola is also ditching the Motorola Migrate as Android M enhances support for backing up user data.

The company will also remove the Google Chrome extension found in Motorola Connect considering that people have moved beyond SMS and to other OTT messaging apps. Thus, it sees no need to continue with the application and regarding this matter. Also, its removal will free up some space on the phone.

With Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Google promises better battery optimization and the ability to manage app permissions natively. The Nexus Imprint fingerprint scanner will also be present and Google Now on Tap which shows contextual results around a place, movie, and more.

As the Moto X Style now accessible to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Motorola fans could hope that soon, more handsets will obtain the newest update by Google.
