EP Ilene Chaiken has revealed some details on what fans will expect in "Empire" Season 2B premiere episode (episode 11). She also admitted that she hopes Rhonda and her unborn baby is safe despite the fall. While series creator Danny Strong teased what Lucious is about to do when the show returns in March 2016.
Executive producer Ilene Chaiken discussed with TV Line about what fans should expect in the premiere episode of "Empire" Season 2B or its 11th episode. Chaiken stated, "Mimi Whiteman (Marisa Tomei) -- in the way that incrredibly rich, powerful people sometimes can -- believes that there's nothing better than her. And Camilla Marks - Whiteman (Naomi Campbell) has convinced Mimi this is not about her wanting to be back with Hakeem Lyon (Bryshere Y. Gray) or anything else. It's about payback for Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard). Whether or not that's true, remains to be seen."
In addition to that, Chaiken also admitted to The Hollywood Reporter that she is hoping that Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday) will survive her tragic fall. Rhonda just fell off down the stairs in her mansion at Long Island in the middle of the night. Because of that, her health as well as her unborn baby is in serious danger.
On the other hand, Showrunner Danny Strong teased to E! Online that fans should be worried about what Lucious is capable of doing. Strong stated that everyone should be aware and worried about who Lucious is eyeing next. It was previously shown on "Empire" Season 2 that Lucious chooses no one like what he did to his friend Bunkie Williams (Antoine McKay).
"Empire" Season 2B 11th episode is entitled as "Death Will Have His Day". The upcoming episode is set to return on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. exclusively on FOX. "Empire" is an American musical drama TV series created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong.
