Amy Schumer's Reaction on her Two Nominations in Golden Globe for ‘Trainwreck’

Amy Schumer got her early Christmas gift for having two nominations in the comedy film, 'Trainwreck'. She received the two nominations as Best Comedy Actress and Best Comedy Film in Golden Globe on Thursday, Dec 10, 2015.

The Today Show invited Amy Schumer to chat about her reactions after hearing the news that she got it from her friends. A statement from her that we can say that 'She is obviously proud of herself'

"It feels so good. It's like, it really feels good and I am proud of what I accomplished, but yeah, really, it is more about the revenge,"

Schumer was still in bed when she heard the reading of her name after announcing the best actress in the film by her friend, Dennis Quaid. Schumer said the time that she let out a loud scream, her eyes teared up. Mixed emotions because it is her Big Screen debut in Trainwreck and she also found out that she will be competing in the Best Actress Category against her new found best friend, Jenifer Lawrence, that is nominated for the movie,"Joy".

In an interview on Thursday, Schumer jokingly said, "As soon as I saw that we were both nominated, I took her right out of my phone because our friendship is obviously over."

Aside from competing with her friend Lawrence, she will also be competing next to Melissa McCarthy, Lily Tomlin, and Maggie Smith.

With regards to her nomination, Schumer tweeted the night of the Big Announcement a photo of her when she was young that illustrates her excitement over her nomination with a caption, "Me with my first globe predicting this moment #tbt Holy hell! Thank you Hollywood foreign press!! This is a dream."
