The story of Renne Graziano and co. is about to end as Mob Wives season 6 has been announced to be the show’s final season. In other news, series star Angela Raiola aka “Big Ang” has received devastating news this week. Reports say that her throat cancer has returned after months of full-recovery.
Last week, VH1 announced that Mob Wives will wrap-up after its forthcoming sixth season. Deadline reported the news. Set in New York City, the final bunch of episodes will cover a full-range of stories. This includes: writing a personal tell-all, battling cancer and shuttering a beloved business, and dealing with a rebellious teenage daughter to name a few.
According to the network, the final season’s theme has something to do with this description: “The Philly girls have left the building, and the “OG”cast is back together on Staten Island, where they always keep it “one-hundred” with one another. But amongst this sisterhood – could there be enemies within?”
Creator and executive producer Jennifer Graziano released a statement via E! Online following the final season’s announcement, she said: “This six season run has been a journey of exploration for all of the women and I'm proud to say they have all identified who they are outside of a world that once defined them.”
The EP shared that it has been her pleasure to work with people whom she considers as family, while also giving thanks to VH1, The Weinstein Company, Electus and Left/Right for the amazing show and journey they all experienced as a team.
Meanwhile, a devastating news hit series star Angela Raiola recently. On Monday, “Big Ang” learned from her doctors that her throat cancer has returned – Entertainment Tonight reports.
A source had confirmed that the doctors found another cancerous lump during a checkup last week. Earlier this year, Raiola underwent two major surgeries to treat the fatal disease.
Mob Wives: The Last Stand is slated to premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 8PM.
