The Internet has gone crazy after details of Justice League Part 1 has been revealed. Justice League Part 1's pre-production stars in January 2016 and the synopsis says Darkseid will be the badass evil overlord!
My Entertainment World revealed on its site, "The world's greatest heroes are assembled to form the Justice League, to combat a threat beyond each individual's capabilities. The story involves Darkseid planning the destruction of Earth by blasting it with a ray that'll move Apokolips into the Earth's place."
Moreover, Comic Book Movie points out that this basic plot will be the foundation of screenwriter Will Beall, which was later rejected and called to be unusable. While Beall's story or foundation of the plot may not be what DC studio was after, it is just makes sense that Darkseid will be the 'Big Bad' villain. Since Darseid is one of the most few DC villain who has the power and formidable enough to require the assembly of the Justice League.
Chris Terrio is currently writing the script, who Ben Affleck also brought in to rewrite the script for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The team is most likely to include, Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot). Meanwhile, the involvement of Green Lantern is yet to be discussed.
Justice League Part 1 will also be filmed in London, UK. This report is confirmed by the studios producer, Charles Roven. As mentioned, its first production starts this January 2016 and will basically move forward at least for the next 3-4 months.
Darkseid is indeed one of the most powerful villain in DC Comics universe and just a little trivia, Thanos of the Marvel universe is inspired from Darkseid's character. There's also a rumor that circulates around comic book fans that Darkseid presence will be felt or at least resonate throughout the movies Wonder Woman and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
