Samsung revealed a new roadmap with an updated version of its Android 6.0 Marshmallow schedule. Per new posted list, the first Marshmallow update for Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets has been moved to the first quarter of 2016.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow will officially be rolling out to Samsung Galaxy devices over-the-air (OTA) by the first quarter of next year. In a Vietnamese tech site, Samsung is revealed to be starting its Marshmallow updates by next year to focus on keeping up with the production targets for now.
Samsung is reportedly moving its handset production to Vietnam in 2016. According to a post from Phone Arena, the South Korean tech titan is targets to manufacture 40 percent of its devices in the country which most likely includes the upcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S7. Further, this is not new for the manufacturer to make their products in Vietnam because it already had factories there for its handset production until the last Galaxy S3. Allegedly, Samsung decided to move out to China because the Vietnamese factories had been leaking information about Samsung operational plans.
