Apple Inc. had just released iTunes 11.1, the updated version to iTunes which brought the iTunes Radio to its desktop music software. The new iTunes was similar to Pandora streaming music service based on genres and artists said a techcrunch.com report.
iTunes 11.1 was incorporated with ad-free streaming for those with iTunes Match subscriptions or those with an ad-supported basis completely free. The iTunes 11.1 was released with iOS 7 device support. According to the same report from techcruch.com, the device support was necessary for looking to sync and update devices via desktop.
The new iTunes also has several new features including Genius Shuffle. This feature allows users to play what iTunes determines as complimentary songs from the user's collection.
Apple Inc, the software company that released the new iTunes 11.1, generated a hefty net income of USD41.733 billion last 2012. The company had USD55.241 billion operating income last year and total assets valued around USD176 billion.
