After 10 years of marriage, Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin are going their separate ways. This was according to a blog the couple had posted reported BBC.
Coldplay singer Chris Martin and Gywneth posted a blog announcing their separation entitled Conscious Uncoupling. The couple blogged, "It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate.”
Gwyneth and Chris got married in December 2003 and have two children, Apple and Moses. According to a report from the Associated Press news agency, a representative for the Coldplay lead singer confirmed the split of the couple.
The message on Gwyneth’s blog said the two had "come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much, we will remain separate." The blog continued saying, "We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been.”
Further the two said, "We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and co-parent, we will be able to continue in the same manner."
