What's next for How I Met Your Mother? stars

The series How I Met Your Mother will end its season on March 31. The season last episode left a lot of hanging questions for the characters of the show. The series that has been airing for a decade now finally comes to an end along with its cast. Fans were also eager to know where the cast would be after the show ends.

Josh Radnor has no confirmed projects yet but the actor said he planned to do other things apart from acting, reported TIME. Meanwhile, Cobie Smulders was scheduled two more stints in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, to be released in the US this week and on Avengers: Age of Ultron, which is still being filmed.

Niel Patrick Harris will be playing Desi in Gone Girl to be released in October. He is also set for A Million Ways to Die in the Next to be released May next year. His Broadway career has also opened as he lands a role in Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Alyson Hannigan told TIME that she would like another acting role in a long playing series. Meanwhile, Jason Segal got a role in Sex Tape and a serious stint in The End of the Tour. Segal also said his YA novel series plans.

Cristin Milioti was a part of The Wolf of Wall Street. She will also be a part of The Occupants and in the rom-com A To Z. Lyndsy Fonesca will be part of Moments of Clarity while David Henrie will be starring in movies including Paul Blart:Mall Cop 2.
