The Atlanta Hawks was scheduled to play with the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday, April 8. The Hawks would get their chance to bag the victory against the Pistons who will be in their home court. The Hawks would place their 11th win on their record playing in home court if they bag the victory on Tuesday night against the Pistons.
The Hawks had already taken home the win on Sunday against Indiana in a winning match of 107 to 88.
Kyle Kover, Atlanta Hawks’ forward, said "I thought we were super locked in. We're fighting for a playoff spot and we came out like that." The game last Sunday ended Pacers getting the lowest score in the history of the franchise.
Jeff Teague said, "It was a must-win for us tonight. We came out hungry, we came out with energy and we came out with passion."
The Atlanta Hawks are looking on rankings to go up given less defeat records compared to New York. The Hawks ranked eighth in the Eastern Conference and are also leading by two games of New York, said a preview from ESPN.
