Hashtag #Chi-Raq has been trending on Twitter following Nikki Minaj’s new single called Chi-Raq. Nikki released the new song in the late hours of Tuesday. Despite the wee hour release, Chi-Raq has caught the attention of both fans and Nikki’s haters alike. The song showcases Nikki’s chance to say goodbye to her haters in collaboration with Lil Herb, a Chicago rapper.
The song contains explicit lyrics which opened "I don't tell n****s, I show n****s." Nikki, who was then confronted with issues concerning her Lookin’ Ass N**** album cover, said sorry for using Malcolm X as cover art. However, the new single Chi-Raq does not really show her remorse although she has already publicly apologized regarding the album cover.
Nikki has already decided to quit American Idol and start to get back on her music career. According to a report from Spin, Chi-Raq may be a part of Nikki Minaj’s next album, The Pink Print.
