The Galaxy Note 3 comes equipped with the S Pen. For Galaxy Note 3 users, knowing a number of tips and tricks with the component should offer a more worthwhile experience.
1. Handwriting
You can do everything you can on your keyboard with the S-Pen. This is true for both text and numbers since the error rate is very low. This is good for people who prefer writing rather than typing on an on-screen keyboard.
2. Pressure Sensitivity
Similar to writing with a pen or pencil on a piece of pad paper, the harder you press your S pen to the screen of your gadget, the thicker and fuller the brush stroke will be. This will turn simple markings into complicated sketches.
Hover for more features
There are two functional levels with the S-Pen, hovering over something, and tapping it directly with the pen. When hovering over something, several features will become available, like Air View and other advanced features that require the use of the S-Pen
Create Screenshots
Using the S-Pen, you can take screenshots and you can choose different ways to do so. You can touch the screen and hold it there for a few seconds while pressing down on the S-Pen, or tapping the Screenshot Note option in the Air Command menu. You can write and draw over the screenshots.
S-Pen Input Method
The S-Pen can be used on any application where you would normally use the keyboard. Create a new message or open an application that requires keyboard use. Press and hold the microphone button to open a small pop-up window. Tap the box with the letter "T" and a small pen. To change back to the normal keyboard, do the same thing in reverse.
