"Real Housewives of Atlanta" husband Apollo Nida was just sentenced to eight years in prison, but it didn't take very long for the other "Housewives" stars to start speaking out about it.
Actress and "Real Housewife" Kenya Moore took to Twitter yesterday, to air her feelings about her "Housewives" co-star's husband's prison sentence, first stating:
"You can't kick someone while they are down even if they fell trying to trip you. Offer them a hand instead. #killthemwithkindness."
She then followed up with another Tweet, adding:
"You don't have to lie, cheat or steal to be relevant at the expense of others. The real losers are innocent children. May God bless them."
Moore and the recently convicted Nida have a history, given that Nida recently had some harsh words for her at a "Housewives" reunion. Nida claimed that he was responsible for Moore's success, and that Moore should pay support for him during his eight year stay in prison.
After Moore's Twitter followers took up where she left off, and began bad-mouthing Nida, Moore added a final Tweet:
"I honestly don't have an opinion either way."
Meanwhile, at a "Real Housewives of Atlanta" after-show, Kandi Burruss compared more to Burruss' mother, Mama Joyce, who has a history of acting out on the show. Mama Joyce had previously attacked one of Burruss's friends, and tried to goad Burruss's husband, Todd Tucker, into cheating on her.
When referring to a fight between Moore and Porscha Williams, Burruss said:
"I thought both of them had valid points. Kenya, even though she does the craziest things, when you sit her down, she's a good talker."
She later added, "I feel like both of them had some good points. At the end of the day, I did feel like she taunted the situation."
