The sentencing date of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice is fast approaching.
Back in March, the reality star pled guilty to four counts of federal fraud, and on September 23, she will have to accept whatever length of jail time is handed out. Given the seriousness of federal fraud charges and the multiple crimes she has pled guilty to, it's extremely likely that Giudice will recieve a significant stay in prison.
In the most recent issue of In Touch Magazine, Giudice spoke about her feelings on the upcoming sentencing date, and how it has affected her and her family so far.
"No one can ever prepare themselves to go to prison, the star told In Touch. "More importantly, how could I ever prepare myself to be away from my kids? It's too terrifying for me to even think about."
Later, when asked about her children, Giudice replied, "I've had many sleepless nights worrying about being separated from my family. My family is my everything."
The "Real Housewives" star also spoke about how the death of her husband's father has affected them during this same period. "Especially with the death of Joe's dad. But what does not kill you makes you stronger. I am here 100 percent for my poor honey and he for me."
Giudice was last in the news when she took to the beach after her sentencing date was delayed, showing off a considerable sun tan while taking a beach day with her family.
As well, she recently buried the hatchet with another New Jersey "Real Housewives" star, Melissa Gorga. Apparently, Giudice's recent legal woes were enough to bring her closer to her bitter reality TV rival.
The sixth season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" will premiere on July 13, 2014, on Bravo.
