Trouble is stirring in The Real Housewives of New York City (RHONY) as the once popular show face potential cancelation with its ratings hitting an all-time low. Bravo, however, decides to continue the show by making a drastic move-keep the series going but axe majority of the cast.
Thus the moment of judgment came for the entire cast of RHONY except for one: Ramona Singer.
The HollywoodGossip reports that auditions for an all-new cast have already started as the series wraps up its second season. Fans of the show, however, are questioning the decision on why Bravo decided to keep the Pinot-loving catty housewife over the newer cast members. Apparently, the other cast of the show are not stirring enough interest among the audience except for Ramona whose latest stint was to bully LuAnn de Lesseps' singing prowess during their visit to a Jazz club.
Enstarz says that Ramona set up LuAnn to make her look bad during their recent bar visit to watch Heater Thomson and Mario Singer perform. Ramona was caught on camera saying "LuAnn decided she doesn't want to sing. I don't blame her. She's not that great. And guess what? There's no Auto-Tune here."
Ramona and husband Mario Singer's storyline, however, have great potential to develop into an interesting theme. Kpopstarz claims that Mario is cheating on Ramona with a younger woman and was caught red-handed at the Hamptons. Ramona, on the other hand, continues to spiral down with her growing alcohol problem.
Sources say that the new cast members will be over the top rich with numerous estates and unbelievable lifestyles. Show executives are hoping that these new women of privilege will bring in personalities that will contribute to the show's new storyline. The producers are still currently searching for young, attractive, and quick-tempered society women for the revamped season of RHONY.
