"Homeland" Season 4's first three episodes have been revealed recently. Enstarz describes each episode title as "more intriguing" than the previous one.
The new season's premiere episode is titled "The Drone Queen," as reported by FoxFast.com on Monday via SpoilerTV. The second episode will be titled "Trylon and Perisphere," a reference to modern structures featured in New York World's Fair of 1939-1940. "Shalwar Kameez," the third episode's title, is actually a traditional dress found in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.
The show's executive producer, Alex Gansa, previously revealed what the upcoming season will be about and what fans can expect from Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes). Carrie, in Season 4, will be Station Chief in Islamabad and Kabul.
In an interview with InisideTV, Gansa explained, "It's about seeing Carrie Mathison for the first time doing the job she was trained to do-- being a case officer in a foreign capital."
"We're going to see what an intelligence officer does on the ground. How she recruits assets, how she deals with the foreign government and her country team - the people she works with in the embassy - and the host country's intelligence services. That is a complicated and murky world, one that we hope is filled with intrigue and drama and adventure," the executive producer added.
Several cast additions were previously announced. Corey Stoll, Suraj Sharma, Laila Robins, and Michael O'Keefe will be joining the cast for the newest season.
"Homeland," developed by Alex Gansa and Howard Gordon, is a U.S. political thriller TV series based on Gideon Raff's Israeli series, "Hatufim."
"Homeland" Season 4 is scheduled to premiere on October 5 at 9 p.m. on Showtime.
