Just a month ago, talk show host Wendy Williams made comments unsavory to "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes' ears regarding the latter's Hermes Birkin bag. An image of the bag in question, which was also shared by the reality star on Instagram, appeared to have been customized by NeNe with her famous quips from her reality show. One prominent phrase that was written in red ink across the bag E! Online estimated to retail as high as $150,000, read, "I'm rich very b*tch."
Williams criticized NeNe for tarnishing a very expensive bag during her "Hot Topics" segment, and according to E! News, NeNe was not happy about what the host said on her show.
In her personal blog, the 49 year-old began to explain that the said bag was decorated so that it could raise some money for charity. NeNe also laments how Williams forgot to discuss this piece of information on her show. She said, "Wendy I am sure people think that I've actually done something to you, maybe we had a beef or I slept with your man but none of that is true! I've actually only been nice to you! I gave you a beautiful black $3,200 Celine Phantom Bag to celebrate your 500th show but you haven't spoken of that! But what you have chosen to do is constantly speak negative of me and lie on me! What you need to do is stop spewing hate! When it comes to gossip you are the lowest of the low!"
NeNe also said in her blog that she is dismayed with the fact that the unwanted publicity by Williams had lowered the cost of the infamous bag. She argued, "Whether Kim and Kanye have way more money than me or not, I'm out here getting money. So you should at least give me props. Girl, you know I ain't been out of a job. I have worked my ass off out here. I wouldn't have even cared if she criticized my bag. But she tried to lower the cost of my damn bag and then she tried to act like I'm not out here working everyday getting money. Girl, bye. I'm so done with you right now. I know why you're doing this and you know why you're doing it too. You just another one of these haters, just hate to see another sister come up. Women need to support women more often, we really do."
"My Birkin is being turned into a work of art to raise money for a worthy charity, something you fail to mention on your show!" she wrote. "I don't have one Birkin I have five now run tell that WIG," NeNe concluded.
But that was not the last move that NeNe made. She then posted a picture on her personal website, which was an image of a clutch bag with line painted on it referring to the talk show host. The line referring to NeNe's nickname to Williams, read, "BYE WENDELL".
"Rockin my #neneism clutch bag today. More info coming up on where you can get yours," the reality star wrote as a caption for the said bag.
