Apollo Nida and Phaedra Parks' marriage is put into test after he was found guilty on series of crimes. The two is speculated to undergo divorce soonest.
Apollo Nida received eight years of life sentencing due to wire, bank, and mail fraud cases and identity theft on July 8. On the same date, Nida wasn't with his wife as she was on a vacation with her American Idol friend Fantasia Barrino.
Series of speculations arose what was the other reason behind it; and it seems it might be cleared after all. According to The Hollywood Life, Parks admitted that she has been planning to file a divorce long ago. Furthermore, if it weren't for the kids - Ayden, 3, and Dylan, 14 months - she wouldn't stay.
"If they never started a family, she would have filed for divorce long ago," InTouch Weekly insider says (as quoted by the same site). "But this is going to push Phaedra to act quickly."
Nida was reported to be paying $1.9 Billion for all the damages that he caused. Obviously, Parks isn't going to put herself working for a lifetime just for that restitution. In fact, any wife wouldn't commit herself for their husband's indemnification - especially for a fraud and identity theft convict.
Meanwhile, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes revealed that she feels bad for Phaedra, for she's already part of the shadow Apollo created, and Apollo for being her friend. "I feel bad," she tells The Hollywood Life. "You know, I know he committed a crime, and I know all that, but I feel bad because I really like Apollo."
Moreover, she disclosed the fact of treating Phaedra without conversing about Apollo's case could really be awkward. "That's kind of uncomfortable. I don't know how to like... 'Hey, Phaedra, so, Apollo got... how many years, girl?' Like, that's so not a conversation. So we didn't talk about that. I feel bad for her," she explains.
What do you think about the friendship between NeNe Leakes and Phaedra Parks? And do you think the divorce shall pursue?
