Fans of "RuPaul's Drag Race" need to brace themselves as Season 7 of the most flamboyant reality competition has purportedly cast its new queens and that film production of the hit reality series will begin real soon.
RuPaul was recently interviewed in the web series "The Justin Root Show." In the interview, he told Root, who is a dear friend of his, that they have finished selecting the new queens for the upcoming season. Root then asked him when they would start filming. RuPaul said at that time, "We cast the show and we start filming in...about five weeks we start filming, four or five weeks."
Now the only question that is left is who are going to be the contestants of the latest season of "RuPaul's Drag Race"? There are a lot of speculations as to who are going to be on the latest season. For those who went to the extremes of finding out, Drag Official said that they studied potential candidates' social media activity, which was a clever way to determine whether they indeed are involved in the reality drag competition.
Drag Official created a poll survey where the fans of the show can vote their favorite drag queens so that they are going to be a part of the show. The top 5 drag queens that the fans voted were:
- Cocoa Chandelier
- Vickie Vox
- Beneva Fruitville
- Miss Coco Peru
- Miss Fame
Some people want Ornacia, the "drag queen" who is part of the outfit of Vivacious on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6, to be a part of the season 7 of the show. Ornacia got the 8thspot of the poll. There are also some popular drag queens who did not reach the top 10 of the list and they are Maddelynn Hatter, Amalara Sofia, Glitz Glam, Melissa Befierce, Gia GiaVanni, Electra Lites and Michelle Livigne.
So ladies better get ready and start your engines because RuPaul's Drag Race Season 7 will premiere on February 2015.
