AMC television series' "Mad Men" is down to its seventh and final season. With the TV Show approaching its end, 32- year old star Elisabeth Moss revealed that what the series' cast members felt.
Moss, quoted by Fashion & Style, recollected about the emotional goodbyes that have happened previously. "The last three days were kind of like a funeral. It was just everybody crying all day long -- these big, giant men bursting into tears," she disclosed.
The reality of the show's end has not sunken yet, according to Moss. She divulged that for her to move on and realize all these, it could take her months. She added, "I think it's going to be weird. I just don't think it's going to be real to me. We're going to finish and it's going to take six months for it to be real. I'm just going to think that we're coming back, like we always do."
When asked about how she feels about letting go of her fictional character, Peggy Olsen (love interest of Don Draper, portrayed by Jon Hamm), she answered, "To the character. I know I'm going to see these people again. We're all family. It won't be the same context though. But it's really the character that's going to be weird to say goodbye to. I just keep thinking about the last scene, the last take."
However, leaving a new character means the possibility of playing a new one. The Los Angeles, California-raised actress is speculated to appear on the HBO hit series "True Detective", as reported by the Washington Post. HBO's "True Detective", which was described by Moss as "a fantastic show", will be filming in California.
Meanwhile, the show has been gaining media scrutiny lately due to allegations of plagiarism, which has yet to be addressed directly by showrunner Nic Pizzolato, according to Vox. It is safe to say that despite the recent allegations of the hit TV series plagiarizing, fans deduce that the actress' entrance could benefit the show.
