PBS has recently released photos that would give fans a glimpse of what's in store for the upcoming fifth season of hit British costume drama TV series "Downton Abbey," Hollywood Life reported.
The photos that were shared on the show's official Instagram account featured the children of the show, and they sure are growing up so fast. The first of the two photos, which were all published on August 10, showed Sybbie Branson (played by the adorable 4-year-old Fifi Hart), who is the daughter of Tom Branson (Allen Leech) and his late wife Lady Sybil. The second photo features George Crawley (played by 3-year-old twins Oliver and Zac Barker), who is the son of Lady Mary and the late Matther Crawley. Little Master George will be the heir apparent to the Earldom.

PBS has also recently released a teaser trailer also available on YouTube, and it looks like things may not run smoothly. "I feel a shaking of the ground I stand on. The nature of life is not permanence, but flux. Things are changing," said Mr Carson in the trailer.
In a TV Line interview published on July 22, execute producer Gareth Neame explained in detail what the producers have in store for the upcoming season. He said, "In the new season, we have the high-stakes drama, the laugh-out-loud comedy and the romance. We have all of the characters doing the things people love to see them doing, but we have a few really nice twists and turns as well."
Neame also talked about the shocking twist last season, which was Anna's rape, and how she and Bates will deal with it in season 5. He added, "I think it would be a bit soft of us to say that [they won't]. There are certain stories on this kind of show that you pick up for a few episodes, then let fall away. This doesn't seem like something that could happen to a character and be easily forgotten."
