When she was asked by the magazine about her character's marital relations with Coyles' character in the upcoming season after Mr. Green's death, Joanne Froggatt, who plays Anna to Mr. Bates, said, "They start Season 5 in a not-so-positive light. Obviously they have a lot to overcome and it won't happen very quickly. And they may never get to the end. There's still this cloud hanging over them. They're trying to find the space to heal themselves and move forward with their lives."

Actress Lesley Nicol, who plays Mrs. Patmore in the period drama, told Daily Star then that she believed that there would be no deaths in Season 5. On the other hand, it does not mean that the show would be debuting next year in a more chirpier note. Joanne Froggatt, who plays Anna in the series, shared to vanity Fair that not everything would be of roses for her character and Mr. Bates.

The first of the two photos, which were all published on August 10, showed Sybbie Branson (played by the adorable 4-year-old Fifi Hart), who is the daughter of Tom Branson (Allen Leech) and his late wife Lady Sybil. The second photo features George Crawley (played by 3-year-old twins Oliver and Zac Barker), who is the son of Lady Mary and the late Matther Crawley. Little Master George will be the heir apparent to the Earldom.

Changes are in the works when "Downton Abbey" returns on January 4 for Season 5. Mary enjoys her time and friendship with Tom, while Anna deas with being raped six months prior and hiding secrets from Mr. Bates, who in turn is hiding secrets from her as well.
