‘Terminator: Geneysis” updates: Schwarzenegger on his character sporting gray hair; Admits fourth installment pushed through without him; Additional cast updates and rumors

Arnold Schwarzenegger recently revealed that the upcoming Terminator movie will be entitled Terminator: Genysis. The movie has been previously referred to as Terminator: Genesis, with a slight change in spelling.

Fans have been wondering why photos of Schwarzenegger on the set show the actor sporting gray hair. In an interview with MTV News, the actor explained why.

"It's this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator's flesh ages, just like any other human being's flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages."

In the interview, he also revealed that having other priorities other than show business was the reason he did not make it to one part of the franchise. Schwarzenegger admitted that he was a bit upset that the fourth installment pushed through without him.

"I was upset that I couldn't be in the fourth Terminator, because I was governor [of California]," he revealed. "So they did the fourth one without me, it made me cry a little bit," said the actor.

However, he said that he is happy about the upcoming installment. "But I did say, 'I'll be back,' so now I'm back again and it's going to be really terrific," Schwarzenegger continued.

A recent update from Kpopstarz claims that Douglas Smith (Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters) is now included in the lineup for the movie. While rumors suggest that he could be playing the young John Connor or young Kyle Reese, his role in Genysis has not been revealed yet.

In the same interview with MTV News, Schwarzenegger said that the sequel will feature the T-800 robot. The actor said, "Terminator deals a lot with time travel, so there will be a younger T-800. And then what that model does later on when it gets reprogrammed, and who gets a hold of him. So it will be all kinds of interesting twists in the movie."

Meanwhile, Kpopstarz also added that fitness trainer-turned-actor Aaron Williamson will be playing the younger T-800 role. This was after Williamson posted on his social media account that he signed to take the role. However, he decided to delete the post.

Kpopstarz reported that Williamson's post reads, "Thanks to an amazing team of people who help me get better each week, both physically & creatively, I'll be playing a T-800 (Terminator) in the upcoming production Terminator: Genesis. I'm extremely grateful & motivated as this new chapter begins to take shape."

Meanwhile, spoilers reveal that the upcoming installment will be very different from the previous Terminator movies. One of the most notable spoilers left fans asking whether Schwarzenegger will be playing a bad or a good terminator in Genysis.

Terminator 5: Genysis will hit the theaters on July 1, 2015.
