By

In the female soldier episode of MBC's "Real Men" that aired yesterday, the cast members revealed their real weight and their faces without makeup, DramaNewsNetwork reports.

It was earlier reported that the Korean female celebrities who accepted the challenge to be female soldiers in the variety program will have to show their real weight as opposed to their profile weight, as well as show their bare faces, without wearing any makeup

The members of the cast include actresses Hong Eun Hee, Kim So Yeon, Ra Mi Ran, Hyeri of Girl's Day, singer G.NA, athlete Park Seung Hee, and comedienne Maeng Seung Ji. The last episode showed the ladies gathering in a training camp. Each of the female celebrities entered the camp and agreed to perform the challenges while achieving their own goals.

However, the female soldiers seem to hesitate when it was revealed that their first task is to measure their weight and height.

After the task, some cast members turned out to be heavier than what their profile says. Hyeri of female idol group Girl's Day jokingly said, "I weighed more due to the weight of the mic."

Actress Kim So Yeon, meanwhile claimed that she weighed more because she is wearing too many layers of clothing.

Moreover, many Korean celebrities, especially the female actresses and idol group members rarely appear on television without makeup. This is why it seemed to be a real challenge for them to show their faces without any makeup. The ladies were shocked upon seeing each other's bare faces while on their first day in the barracks.

Netizens were amused to see the Korean celebrities on the show.

"Real Men" is a variety show featuring Korean celebrities facing the challenges of life in the military. The show started airing on April 2013, as part of its network's Sunday night programming block.
