Vin Diesel shares a film still from “Fast and Furious 7”; Jason Statham’s character set to get revenge on “Fast and Furious” crew

The premiere of the much-anticipated "Fast and Furious" 7 is scheduled on April 2015. Fans of the action movie already know some of its major plot details, including "vengeance over Han's death" as a theme.

Actor Vin Diesel, recently shared still photos through his Facebook account. The photos show sad faces of the actor, together with other cast members Ludacris, Tyrese, and the late Paul Walker. According to CinemaBlend, the photos show the funeral of Han (Sung Kang) who died during the last part of "Fast and the Furious 6."

Diesel did not dish out details of the pictures, but according to the website, the still photos are hinting that the next installment will revolve around the "Fast and Furious" crew's vengeance on the one behind Han's death, who is revealed to be Jason Statham at the ending scene of the previous movie.

Statham's unidentified character was seen in the previous film's last part intentionally crashing his car against Han's, making the latter's vehicle to flip upside down on the road. Han was trapped in the car while Statham was shown leaving the crash scene just before Han's car explodes.

The actor's scene left fans shocked and at the same time, excited to know Statham's involvement in the upcoming sequel.

In a report by Comingsoon.net, Statham is playing Ian Shaw, a brother of Luke Evan's villain character in the previous movie. In an interview with the website's Max Evry, the star shared his opinion on the fans' reaction on his appearance in "Fast and Furious 6."

"That's just the best news I've ever heard, it's fantastic to hear that!" said Statham.

An article by Enstars claims that the crew is not the only one aiming for vengeance come next installment, as Statham's Ian is also set to get revenge over the death of his brother.

Meanwhile, the Paul Walker was reportedly able to film most of his parts before he died in a tragic car accident November 30 last year. His brothers Caleb and Cody were requested to stand in for their late brother for the rest of his scenes.

"Fast & Furious 7" is scheduled to hit the theaters on April 3, 2015, with the return of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Lucas Black.
