According to Arnold Schwarzenegger, the new "Terminator" movie, "Terminator: Genysis" will feature two T-800 robots. It will show a younger version of the robot which will be controlled by Skynet, while the older T-800 will be featured in the movie's last parts.
In connection to this, fitness trainer turned actor, Aaron V. Williamson, earlier revealed that he got the younger T-800 role. He made the announcement through his social media account and it reads,
"Thanks to an amazing team of people who help me get better each week, both physically & creatively, I'll be playing a T-800 (Terminator) in the upcoming production Terminator: Genesis. I'm extremely grateful & motivated as this new chapter begins to take shape."
However, Williamson deleted the said post but only after it created a buzz online.
Moreover, while the first 'Terminator' movie was done three decades ago, Schwarzenegger is set to reprise his iconic cyborg role. In some photos from the set, Schwarzenegger is seen sporting a grey hair, leaving people asking why a robot is showing such signs of aging.
The actor explained it to MTV News. "The way that the character is written, it's a machine underneath. It's this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator's flesh ages, just like any other human being's flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages."
Speaking of aging, the actor also admitted that his age, along with other prior commitments, was the reason he was not able to star in one part of the sci-fi movie series.
"I was upset that I couldn't be in the fourth Terminator, because I was governor [of California]," Schwarzenegger admitted. "So they did the fourth one without me, it made me cry a little bit. But I did say, 'I'll be back,' so now I'm back again and it's going to be really terrific," he added with delight.
Meanwhile, "A Good Day to Die Hard," which stars Jai Courtney has nabbed the role of Kyle Reese, while "Game of Thrones" star Emilia Clarke secured a role as Sarah Connor in the upcoming "Terminator" movie, BreatheCast reports.
"Zero Dark Thirty" actor Jason Clarke will be taking the role of John Connor.
"Terminator: Genysis" is scheduled for release on July 1, 2015.
