It was revealed last June that "Game of Thrones" star Gwendoline Christie is joining "Star Wars: Episode VII." And now, another star of the HBO series is joining the cast of the upcoming sci-fi film.
According to BBC News, actor Mitlos Yerolemou, who plays an expert swordsman named Syrio Forel in "GoT" is the latest addition to the cast of the highly anticipated sequel in the "Star Wars" franchise. The movie has recently resumed production at Pinewood Studios after two weeks of hiatus following the in-set injury of actor Harrison Ford who plays Han Solo in the movie.
BBC, however, mentioned that Yerolemou is taking a minor role only.
Yerolemou is best known for his role in "Game of Thrones" but he has appeared in numerous movies and television shows since the late 1990s. In reality, Yerolemou is a well-trained swordsman, and with his addition to the next "Star Wars" film, fans are easy to speculate that he might be holding a lightsaber this time.
Meanwhile, in a report by NY Daily News, the cast members of "Episode VII" who attended the Venice Film Festival in Italy have kept mum about the details of their upcoming movie.
Adam Driver, who attended the Venice event with festival entry, "Hungry Hearts" seemed to be uninterested in dishing out details. The actor, however, managed to share a little about his experience in the production when asked what it is like to be on the "Star Wars" set for the first time. "I will say this - it's surreal," said Driver.
Moroever, at a Vanity Fair-sponsored party, cast Gwendoline Christie joked about what the film producers have to do to keep details secret. "There's snipers trained on us right now," the actress shred jokingly.
"Star Wars: Episode VII" will be released in theaters on December 18, 2015. Starring alongside Ford are Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, will be reprising their roles as Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, respectively. Also part of the cast are Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong'o, Crystal Clarke, Pip Anderson, Christina Chong, and Max von Sydow.
