Meanwhile, cast member Ludacris, recently spoke to XXL describing how it was like filming without the late Paul Walker, who has been part of the franchise for years.
While it was previously reported that the late actor has already filmed most of his parts of the movie before he passed away, the cast had a hard time filming without their co-star Walker. Ludacris shared that their team worked through the difficulties for the legacy of their friend.
"It was definitely difficult, but at a certain time, we all came together and understood," the rapper-actor told XXL.
"We was 75 percent done before his untimely death. Us coming back together was definitely hard but there was also an understanding that we were going to finish this movie because that's what he would have wanted us to do. Continue his legacy and leave an extremely huge mark with this film," Ludacris continued.
Moving on, Ludacris made an assurance that the upcoming movie will not disappoint the fans of the franchise. "I think people's breath is going to be taken away when they watch this one," he said.
"April 3rd, 2015, it will be out," he added.
The rap artist worked alongside Walker since he debuted in the "Fast and Furious's" second installment in 2003. The action movie was Ludacris' debut in the film industry and has since been part of his career for the past 11 years.
