Fans of Hannibal have witnessed to how intensely action-packed the season of the hit television show "Hannibal." Show creator Bryan Fuller has said in an interview that it all boils down to one reason.
Enstarz quoted Fuller in his interview with IGN about the show's story development. According to him, he and his team see to it that they are working on the show as if it's their last up until at least Season 5 or 6. Despite that, he is well aware of the fact that there are other factors that can eventually led the network to decide to cancel the show.
""We don't want to tread water in any way, shape or form. There's a beautiful arc of stories in what Thomas Harris has written. Every season we go into wanting to go out as if it were our last season, because we have absolutely no control over those issues. It's impossible to predict. So we always prepare for the show to be ending with that final episode and hope to have more, because I think this show should not go on forever. It should be a close story, and it is nice to see the arc," he added.
As Season 3 is about to be released, there have been news circulating online that the show will now be taking on the daunting task of following Dr. Hannibal Lecter's (Mads Mikkelsen) cannibalistic ways in the other side of the world. According to Franchise Herald, as he and his psychiatrist, Dr. Bedelia du Maurier (Gillian Andersen) team up as a husband and wife when they reach Europe. The duo will reportedly be seeking gore in an unsuspecting Europe, but Hannibal's tendencies might be discovered as Bedelia will purportedly spilling the beans about Hannibal's secret accidentally.
It is clear that Season 3 would revolve around Bedelia and Lecter as the duo would be expected to be caught up in trouble as the two face a new found life in Europe. Fashion & Style said that during Season 3, Hannibal's ways would also be his end as locals will discover his murderous ways no thanks to Bedelia, who would reveal his deepest darkest secrets for everyone's information. On the other hand, it is also expected that Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) will do his best to bring back Hannibal for the latter to face justice.
