Multiple reports are saying that Foo Fighters will be performing three shows in London ahead of their performance at the first Invictus Games. The band is scheduled to be in England to cap the games backed by Prince Harry in support of injured troops.

The band first gave a hint about the free shows when they tweeted an intriguing photo of a wall socket via their Twitter account. The tweet read, "Sure missed you...now, let's do 3 club gigs this week..."

Concorde 2, a club located in Brighton, England, conspicuously have the Foo Fighters under the alias "The Holy Shits" to perform at the venue on September 10. DIY Mag reported that fans who pre-ordered the band's upcoming eight studio album "Sonic Highways" received an email saying that the band will do a secret show at the House of Vans.

Part of the email read, "Hope you don't mind, I got your email address because you pre-ordered 'Sonic Highways' direct from the band. As a THANKS for that, we wanted to offer you first dibs on tickets for an upcoming secret show in London. This is a FREE show. We opened up a select number of tickets just for you guys to claim before they are made available to the public. If the tickets on this link run out by the time you click - don't worry - there will be more available to the public later this week."

There is no doubt that the free shows will have the Foo Fighters debut their new album, "Sonic Highways." Foo Fighters' upcoming eighth studio album, is scheduled for release on November 10, NME wrote. An eight-part rockumentary series was created for HBO led by front man Dave Grohl in lieu with the album. The documentary series will showcase their travel to eight renowned studios in eight different cities across North America to write and record the said album. The series and the lead single from the new album are scheduled to debut on October 17.
